Buserelin side effects...

Hi all ☺️ I’m just starting down regulation for my first frozen cycle. I’m using 0.5 of buserelin daily. My clinic have prepped me for lots of side effects but I am wondering how long it takes for the buserelin to kick in and potentially any of these dreaded side effects? Thanks

6 days in. No side effects as yet. Not sure if that is good or bad.

Im 9 days in, my moods are up and down and ive just started to get little headaches... but thts it really xx

I’ve done my down regs. Apart from on the first day when I got a headache it was pretty smooth sailing. You do sometimes get a little surface rash which is fine and that sometimes leaves white bubbles under your skin. Basically it’s just the medication taking a little longer to absorb into the tissue.

I was also prepped for various side effects. I'm 16 days now into its use and I have had no side effect. Infact I have slept so well since I started using it.

However be prepared that your period might be delayed, I think that's quite common and won't class that as a side effect. My period arrived today (8 days late), cycle day 36.

Hi Pip89. Who knows, you might be one of the lucky ones who doesn't get any - hopefully. I think though, that as you continue, you may start to get a little something. This drug works on the pituitary gland in the brain, and it can take a few days for it to recognise it. Hope all goes well for you as the cycle continues. Diane

Hi Pip89, I’m 7 days in and haven’t really had anything too horrendous. Bad head for the first couple of days but have just drank lots and have noticed I’m more tired than usual but nothing significant! X

Hi Pip89 I didn't really get any side effects last time I used buserelin so hopefully you will be ok xx
