Hey,

I haven’t post for a while but I wanted to congratulate everyone on their BFPs and scan pics I’ve seen and let everyone that’s had sad news know, you will survive this.

I’ve managed to get a cancellation appt so will be having my surgery next month in hope I can start my FET in August🤞

Have to say the waiting never gets easier and the fact it’ll of been a year out of treatment doesn’t sit easy for me if I dwell on it to much.

I do know though my mental health is the most important thing and that’s what I’m concentrating on atm 💛

Good luck for your surgery! I’ve just set the wheels in motion for a new cycle and the clinic are going to draw up a treatment plan and contracts so that hopefully I can have my scratch in July and cycle in August so we may have similar transfer dates. 🤞for us both this time around xx

We finally decided to go with the old clinic! It was kinda tough but I know I feel comfortable there (as comfortable as you can be in this situation haha). Yes, June 28th xx

Ok I think! I seem to have been lucky and only have mild symptoms but rather than enjoying feeling well it has created more anxiety! My 12 week scan is next week so fingers crossed everything is ok. Xx

That’s understandable but I honestly think lack of symptoms isn’t always a bad sign. Look forward to hearing good news from you next week xx

I’m ok. Still undecided about whether to put ourselves through another round with my eggs or go straight to donor. We’re supposed to start next month so need to decide soon if we are!! Have an appointment on Friday at a different clinic about donor eggs as there is a 6 month waiting list at ours. X

That must be really tough for you, have you been able to speak to a counsellor or anything to perhaps help you make the decision? I hope your appt goes well on Friday xx

We have had appointments with counsellor at our clinic but it’s more been if donor eggs is the right route for us. I think we’re pretty sure it is but hadn’t thought of discussing decision about final attempt with own eggs with her. Perhaps that would have helped. We’ll see how it goes on Friday anyway. Following my husband’s illness we still have not decided when to start the second round of IVF. Part of me is panicking because I’m getting older but part of me knows that it might be too much for us to handle IVF at the moment. I wish you all the best and hopefully we hear good news from you soon x

Oh I’m sorry to hear your husbands been unwell, is he better now? I think you’ll know when the time is right, sometimes it can cause extra pressure when you’ve already got a lot going on in your life x

I’m happy that you have been able to get a cancellation, hope your doing well?

Since my treatment ivf for unexplained infertility I was advised to complete a amh blood test which come back really low😔 this was the only bad result I’ve had from all tests completed. I felt really disheartened, However after meeting with a different consultant today I’ve been prescribed clomid & advised to take DHEA. To be honest I’m willing to give this a go as I don’t feel ready to undertake IVF again yet... (plus it’s a lot cheaper) you have amazing strength to go though it again 😊 xx

Ah so lovely to hear from you! I’ve struggled a lot with my anxiety since last year but am doing okay thanks.

That’s understandable, it’s tough to deal with news you wasn’t expecting. I’m glad you got some answers today, I took clomid before IVF - don’t know what your consultant advised you but I took it at night so the side affects like sweating etc were more bearable xx
