I just thought i should update you all.my 13 week scan went well. Our little one is doing ok and has a strong heartbeat.I still have fatigue and minor headaches but no nausea and never had morning sickness thankfully. I'm finishing off my last of the progesterone gel now just putting one at night and should be done by Saturday. The only thing I'm taking is a prenatal vitamin just before bedtime.
Other than that all is progressing well.I still worry from time to time and I'm constantly on Google as we are not out of the woods yet. I think i will relax at 20 weeks if at all its possible to relax with this process.
I am so grateful to have gotten this far with no hiccups and I pray every day that I hold my baby soon.
To everyone struggling don't give up hope.keep sharing your experiences positive or negative because it's these posts that help alot of us and we don't feel so alone.

Congrats I’m so glad it went well for you. It’s a nerve racking time. I got my positive the other day and am petrified it’s going to go wrong. Will keep all my fingers and toes crossed for you lovely but it sounds like your little one is tough! X

Ah wow! Bit late but congrats on ur bfp!! I don't come on here much now (currently 35+6 myself following an fet) but I couldn't scroll past without saying something. Best of luck for a smooth pregnancy xxx
I know...4wks to go max!! I'll be honest I haven't had the easiest pregnancy...1st trimester I had the bleed, 2nd trimester I got diagnosed with severe anxiety brought on by hormones but also worrying about the baby. Had to have a month off work, cbt and I'm still on meds for it (never had any mental health issues before) and then got diagnosed with gestational diabetes at 22wks which has caused no end of worry and I've been on a super strict diet ever since. It's been a tough time but I'm so proud and excited to get this far! Everyone else at this stage is worrying about labour but I'm not...i say "bring it on on lol!" Xxx

I know what you mean regards labour I was excited for it too it didn't turn out like nothing I'd plan though. One bit of advice just be prepared for your birth plan to go out the window. Looking forward to your update 🤗
I know what u mean about the birth plan. I call it birth preferences rather than a choice! Got midwife this afternoon and hospital for a scan tomorrow...have a distinct feeling baby has gone breech! Pretty much sums up this pregnancy lol! Xxx
Good news! He's head down and 2/5 engaged. What a relief! The soft part I could feel at the bottom of my bump was the gap between his head and shoulders...boy did I feel the shoulders when the midwife pressed to feel them! (ouch!) I'm not complaining about any of my pregnancy or my ivf treatment...I'd do it all again 100x to be in this position now...definitely feel so grateful and lucky to be able to be able to experience all these things xxx

It's tiring and hard work but I suppose it gets you ready for what's to come. When I got to the point you are I couldn't wait to meet her. But that's when she started playing up. It does hurt when they are feeling around doesn't it. I love it all think it's such an amazing experience. I know what you mean exactly how you'd do it all again. It's crazy because you'll remember certain parts and when he's born your memory is crazy it disappears. Have you done a diary? I know I'll be doing one next time once I get passed the 6 week mark I'll be writing it all down. Really glad to know he's behaving bless him 💗🤗😘
Congrats! I have a scan on Saturday, which will be just over 12 weeks and am absolutely terrified. At 10 weeks the scan was fine, but I can’t help but worry about whether there is a heart beat and if so that it passes all the tests they do.
Having miscarried before, it just seems unbelievable that we could have a positive outcome even though I feel we deserve it.
It’s good to hear positive news and that it’s not just me that finds this stuff stressful.
It really is stressful even after the bfp.i hope your scan goes well. Stay positive and rest whenever you can. This is a new pregnancy and has a good chance. Stay hopeful and take care of yourself.i usually go on you tube and listen to pregnancy meditation videos. That helps me to relax and stay positive.
Im just 5 wk and 1 day im really worried about the 7 week scan. Im praying it goes well and get a strong heartbeat. I did have a miscarriage many years ok at just over 7 wks so im praying i make it ok. Im sure yours will continue to be healthy i dont think ive heard of anyone i know lising at 13wks. ☺☺☺
Oh dear just stay positive and keep busy to take your mind off things. I was so worried I had weekly scans from week 7 to 9.crazy I know but this whole thing just keeps you worried.good luck with the scan. Rest as much as you can
Thank you. I really hope I can relax abit soon. The last year was hard for me with all my failed cycles. It would really be nice to stay calm and relax if at all its possible.😊
