Bureslin on fet

Has anyone used bureslin for their fet?? Why is this used? Also how long before transfer roughly with this protocol??

I was on buserelin. It’s used to stop you ovulating on a medicated FET cycle. I was on a long day 21 protocol - so I started it on day 21 of my cycle and then had a scan two weeks later. The scan showed everything was suppressed so then started on oestrogen patches and then eventually progesterone injections. X

Hi I used this on my fet its to shut your system down while they build up your lining. It was roughly 35 days from starting injections to embryo transfer. xx

I am on my 2WW now from a FET and was also on burserilyn. It was 4 weeks and 2 days for me from starting the injections, 1 scan and then the transfer was 6 days after my scan. Good luck! Xx

Ohh wow the 2ww, hope its your bfp girly!! How did you decide between medicated and natural fet? Also, did you experience any side affects... did you transfer one or two? Xx

We actually have a little boy from a frozen cycle, who is now just over 2.. we tried medicated and natural and just for us, natural didn't work... also a few friends advised me to go with medicated, so for us it's just what worked V what didn't. ... but may work for others. I did feel v emotional on the meds, but I am quite emotional anyway 😂 Apart from the mood swings and tears, no other side effects. We always transfer 2, if there are 2, but this cycle, we had 1 left, so this time just the one.. actually our son was also a single embryo that was put back too 💙

Ohhh i didnt realise you had a lil boy already...💕💕i start this sat on down reggin... im so nervous, scared,excited... i just want it to work! I had a fresh cycle in sept but that failed but they saw i had liquid in my tubes so i had that tube removed when the cycle failed.... so this will by first cycle with no problems before i actually start 🙏

How many frozens do you have & how many do you think you will put back? (If you have more than 1, that is)

Yeah our gorgeous lil boy was from a frozen icsi cycle, very lucky 🍀 indeed! He is gorgeous!! Xx

Ahh bless him.... your little prince.... i have 4 frosties 2 5a grades and the others are 4bb.... im leaning towards having 2 transferred... although im a bit hesitant to do it... i just want to have the best possible chance xx

Ahh that's amazing! 4 👏🏻 well done! Yeah I think unless you are completely against having twins, it's a good call. Good grade embies too! How funny, our lil embryo we transferred yday, was a 4bb too! Xx

Oh wow.... The 2ww begins.... get plenty of rest and try and be patient lol, its so funny all the emotions we go through on this journey xx im at work now and all i can think about is starting my injections and i get this weird feeling in my belly.... anxiety is here and i havent started it already xx

Oh I know! I have been on this 2WW journey a few times now & it never fails to shock me how many mixed emotions I go through. Be sure to keep me/ us updated with your journey, once the injections start.. it's so good talking to people 😘
