Light red bleeding after pessarie 18dpt bfp

This morning 1 hour after putting my pessarie I had a light red bleeding. Now I'm very very frightned. When I wipe there is still dischrage with a light pinkish colour. I'm so sad.

My world has crashed on me right now.

Just called my clinic, waiting to hear back from the dr.

seeing blood after a BFP is really stressful but lots of the time it’s nothing to worry about! I know that it won’t settle your nerves but I’ve seen lots of times on here where pessaries have caused irritation and a slight bleed🤞🏻. Thinking of you and I hope the clinic call back quickly with some reassuring words x

They told me to up my progesterone dose, cyclogest morning and evening, and seidigestan afternoon. If i was putting cyclogest every 12h i understand i should now change it to every 8h right? He said now all we can do is wait and see what happens

Hi Kiara89,

I really hope you just have a small abrasion or something from inserting the pessary. Fingers crossed it is just that as you didn’t have the bleeding before the insertion of the pessary.

hi, I had bleeding at a similar time and my clinic were no help but my local EPU said it was really common. I had a scan at 6 weeks at my EPU and all was well. There were little haematomas in the uterine lining that they could see on the scan which must have bled a bit. They said I might get more bleeding and not to panic 🤞🤞

It’s an anxious time but it’s not always a sign that anything is wrong 🤞🍀

My clinic only told me to up my progesterone dose and to wait for my scan, which is in eight days.Thank you for your reply, it's such an anxious time.

I'm trying to keep positive and occupied.
