Is this my period?

I’m 6dp5dt and just been the toilet and wiped to see like brown discharge. I’ve done a natural Fet so not been taking any pessaries. My period would normally start with clear red colour. Is it all over?

Not necessarily. At this point you can get old blood coming out (brown) but it could also be implantation bleeding. It is actually quite common to have that. Wishing you all the best xx

Keep an eye on it. Usually they say it's not over unless you get red blood which fills a pad in an hour. Xx

I’m also on 6dp5dt!! I had brown blood on Friday, just a one off, nothing since....hope you’re doing ok xxx

It’s hard isn’t it! When I saw the brown blood I just wanted to know if it was just over! I was doing so well up to the n! Normally when my period starts I see red blood and it gets a bit heavier after a few hours so it is not how I would normally start my period. I’m literally due on tomorrow or Wednesday! Have you had any other symptoms?

I’ve had lots of cramping and twinges since Thursday, particularly strong yesterday evening which made me feel sad all the way through an amazing nick cave gig...today I’ve had no symptoms cramps?! But I’m so bloated?! It’s just awful this 2ww!!!!! Xxx

I’ve had the odd twinge but nothing really noticeable! Just dreading going the toilet now! I have been telling myself the tww gets easier this being my fourth but I couldn’t be more wrong!

I’ve had a 2ww with no bleeding (fresh IVF cycle) and one with light spotting which then stopped (natural FET). Was pregnant both times but the first sadly ended in miscarriage at 9 weeks. It isn’t over until it’s over, but the waiting is excrutiating!

Wishing you lots of luck! My advice would be to wait to test until you were instructed to do so, then if pregnant follow up with a blood test of your HCG value to ensure it is rising.
