Scratch

Hi all,

So we start our FET process soon! Excited and nervous at the same time. Quick question, an awkward one but I guess on here no such thing exists. I am due to have a scratch soon on day 21 of my cycle so two weeks away, I can’t remember if the nurse said we can’t have sex until then or no unprotected sex, any idea ladies? X

Hi 👋🏻 I’d say no unprotected sex as you don’t want to risk falling pregnant naturally and then having an endometrial scratch which could obviously harm the pregnancy xx

Know it's a different question but we messed up around hcg time and had protected sex and when I went for the hcg they wouldn't it as there was a risk I could be pregnant?! I'd avoid it altogether! Maybe not the answer you wanted though! X

We got told not and had to sign a disclaimer saying that we hadnt had unprotected sex. Good luck!xx

Thanks ladies! Called the clinic this afternoon and the nurse said protected sex is ok
