Hi, have they told you to start progesterone pessaries too?
That usually builds lining further from now till the FET.
Yeah started them yesterday. 3x a day.
Just don't feel as bloated as I have the other times.
Thanks for your quick reply x
No worries. The progesterone will thicken it for sure. And quickly.
I don’t think the hospital would have started it unless they thought lining was thick enough. They normally just keep scanning until they’re sure- so I’m sure you’re ok. They probably allow for the progesterone thickness in their calculations.
Were your previous cycles fresh ivfs or FET?
If they were fresh then it’s very different/ you tend to be far more bloated with the trigger shots etc
Thank you. Its so jard not to read into every little detail.
Ive had 2 fresh cycles and 1 fet.
☺️ There you go. Yes it is very hard not to overthink everything- and also one experience can be different to another.
Sometimes it doesn’t matter if you have the perfect embryo or the perfect lining- it can be luck of the draw.
Pray all is well- just do what’s in your control and look after yourself for the dreaded tww 🙈🙌🏻
Good luck!
Hi, have you tried acupuncture? It helps with lining development xx
With my 3rd round of IVF (frozen) my living was only 6.3 and it worked for me. I’ll be 36 weeks tomorrow. I was also really anxious but the clinic reassured me that this lining was perfectly fine and turned out they were right 🙂
Good luck 🤞 xxx
Hey Kitct,
We are exactly the same! My first scan was 6.7, then on Friday it had thickened to 7.4 and they’ve given the go ahead to transfer next Thursday. I start progesterone tonight. I’m having a 5 day FET.
Apparently 2 Doctors okayed it when the nurse asked and they also confirmed that the lining would continue to grow up until transfer.
Just wanted to wish you well and also say that your not alone! Good luck with it all xxx
Aww thank you. Same to you, just got to try and keep my mind occupied I think.
Fingers crossed for is both xxx
Is your lining triple layered? That’s more important as long as it’s over 5mm. The embryo finds the perfect spot to implant! I got pregnant with a 7mm lining twice. I found my lining was much thicker on a natural cycle with no Progynova. They had me on 14 mg plus double patches and still wouldn’t budge but natural cycle got up to 9mm. Wishing you the best of luck xxx
My lining was only 6.5mm but the clinic said it looked really good so we’re happy to proceed with my transfer. I am currently 5wks 5 days pregnant. So there is hope.
Good luck.xx
Oh brilliant, love a positive story! Congratulations xx
Are you using anything else?
Pomegranate juice or capsules, beetroot, Brazil nuts are supposed to help lining....may be old wives tails but they can’t hurt
Hi. My lining was only 6.6 on day 1, my clinic were happy to proceed they also take into account the tri layer so it's nit just quantity but also quality. I'm now 4wks 3days good luck hope it works this time round for u x
Hey there, hang in there! That is not a bad number at all for lining especially since you still have a few days before transfer, your lining will continue to thicken! You've got this!
Try not to worry. My lining was 7.1 and I got the go ahead to start progesterone. By the time I transferred my lining was 9.3mm! Good luck!xx
Kitct, reading your post you may have already done your FET. If so, I truly wish the best for you to have a successful transfer this cycle and hope for great news in the coming weeks.
I went through three failed cycles before doing an endometrial receptivity analysis before a fourth cycle. It is a test that helps avoid implantation failure by establishing the best day for embryo transfer. I am now 17w1d with twins! I believe the test provided vital information for my doctor to plan my cycle.

Hi, thank you. I had transfer on Thursday. I'm having ups and downs as seem to be feeling the same as previous cycles. No pain or spotting just a bloated heavy feeling from the drugs I think.
Thank you so much for the info I will definitely look into that xx
