Hello all, so we have had another negative although in some way I Knew and I should of cancelled this attempt..

On my first scan after starting estrodiol my endometrium was thick at 18mm in day 9 and wasn’t showing a tri laminar.. so 2 days later another scan and it was 15mmand a sketchy trilaminar... I had to wait for them to make a decision regards starting progesterone it not..

Has anyone else had experience with thick endrometrium in the beginning stage??

I have put the to questions to our drs but yet to hear back.. it’s been 2 long weeks 😩

tha Is in advance for your comments xx

Im so sorry you've had yet another negative, its so crappy to go through this time and time again! I cant offer any advice on the thickness but 18mm wow! I think if you have different people scanning you can get slight discrepancies which might explain the slight difference on measurements. Im the opposite struggle to get a decent lining however I usually do have the trilaminar thing and Im led to believe this is pretty important along with a minimal thickness. I hope you get some answers from your clinic. Sending hugs.xx

Just wanted to send love and say so sorry you have a bfn this time.

I haven't had this problem, but was just surprised you were on estrodiol alone and not any progesterone no matter what scan looked like? I have always been put on progesterone as standard every cycle pre transfer/during 2ww. xx

Hi, they did put me on progesterone day 13 of the cycle.. just think possibly too thick.. but will wait for drs to discuss.. xx

I don’t have any advice but so sorry to hear of your result. Be good to yourself. Xx

Hi Dreamydoran. I suppose it's just down to maintaining the endometrial thickness. Perhaps a different form of progesterone is what you need?? Some specialists transfer to injections. Hope you soon et some answers to your queries. Thinking of you. Diane
