Overstimilation of ovaries

I have a low amh level and therefore my clinic have told me they will need to overstimulate my ovaries to ensure a normal volume and quality of eggs and give us a better chance of success for IVF. I have heard this is a very painfull process. Is the case? Intereted to hear from anyone who has experienced overstimulation.

Hi Netti451. Just ensure you drink lots of water to compensate for any over stimulation, should it happen. It’s less likely to happen with a low AMH. Hope all works ou5 well for you. Diane

I was on max dose for low amh and had very little discomfort. From the posts on here it seems the other way round, the people with good egg reserve on low doses are producing lots more follicles and more likely to have discomfort and risk of ohss. I had 3 rounds and no problems x
