Ovary and rib pain 2ww

I'm 3dp5dt... Had what I think wax ovarian pain all last night and now today the pain has moved to like under my ribs. Been there for hours now. Its not agony but its not comfort abke either. Anyone else experienced this?

I had a lot of pain in my ovaries from my egg collection but not my transfer, after my transfer the majority of my discomfort was trapped wind from the lovely pessaries. Might be worth trying some peppermint tea to see if it helps ease it

Sorry to hear. Was it a fresh cycle? If so, did they collect a load of eggs? You might have late onset OHSS. I had this two years ago. Good news is that it was triggered by pregnancy. Fingers crossed it’s that so the discomfort has a massive silver lining!

No it was a frozen cycle so can't blame that. Thank you very much yeah hopefully there's a great reason for the pain xo

Hello Aamiller, not got any advice unfortunately but I am 6 days post frozen transfer. I have also been having rib and ovary pain. I have tried to ignore it and think I'm just over thinking things but it is defo there on and off. I haven't had any bleeding so I'm just hoping that it is a positive sign. Hope the peppermint helps can you let me know if you find out any more information about it also please.

Hi...unforunately peppermint tea didn't help.. But I kind of helps to know someone else is experiencing something similar. Will let you know if I find out any more.. Best of luck to you too xox

Yeah I get what you mean. I wouldn't want someone else to be experiencing it but then it also puts my mind at ease a bit to know it's not totally abnormal! Thank you! Xx

I had a sharp pain in my left ovary area, on and off. Doctor said its probably inflammation of ovaries with pressure from bowels (I was quite constipated after, they were like marbles! And I only went every three days). Apparently the drugs can cause constipation and this can affect ovaries. Pains went away after a few days. Unless it's really bad, I'd assume it'll go away in time. Probably. My nurse said, if the pain gets really bad, go to A&E.

Don't know if it's the same as what I had but might be?

Who knows but could be a possibility.. Hopefully it will just gradually dissappear. Yeah it's def not so bad I need to get it checked out at the minute anyway x
