Me! Had my first double donor embryo transfer today. How are you feeling? When is your OTD? Mine is 3 June.

Ahhh, hi 👋 a double transfer 🙏🙏 everything crossed for you! I’m feeling fine, the staff I had today were the loveliest I’ve had for a transfer so that just made everything soo much nicer!! My embryo also started hatching after the thaw so I’m hoping that’s a good sign! How are you doing? They’ve told me to test on the 5th June!

I have the two week wait 🙈

My embryo was hatching too, really hope it’s a good sign. It’s only one embryo, but from double donors - egg and sperm. I’m feeling ok, travelling back from Portugal where my clinic is based. Everything went really smoothly and hope it carries on that way!!

Will you wait until OTD to test? I’m a POAS addict so will start way before then. I prefer to know if it’s not going to work sooner rather than later.

I usually do test a bit early but I also did a trigger short for this frozen transfer so not sure if I should. I’m also going away on holiday on Sunday to Spain for a few nights so my husband and I can take our mind off it and relax 🙏!

I would like to test 7dpt but my husband wouldn’t want to test early xx

I’m scheduled to have my third FET on Monday! I’m trying not to get ahead of myself , it needs to make it through the thawing process first 🙏

Ahhh best of luck! I was exactly the same today, I lost one embryo last time with the thaw so I was super nervous all morning waiting today as it’s our last embryo!

I had my transfer today too. Was a fresh transfer from my second ICSI round - I only got one egg so delighted we managed to get one embryo. My test day is 1st June as my clinic do it at 9dpt.

I’m debating whether to test out the trigger shot so I can test early.

Aww this is great news for you 🎉 so strange how all clinics do it different isn’t it! I know I was tempted to test out my trigger but I feel pregnancy tests are so expensive nowadays xxx

I just buy a cheap box of strip tests from amazon they work out about 50p each so you can test away! Although, maybe having so many available is unhelpful, haha!

Ha ha very true but I do think is a good idea, I think I might you know as then atleast you know when it’s gone! I did my trigger a week ago today so it may have gone already, I’ll check tomorrow ☺️ xx

So I tested this morning to check for trigger and it’s officially gone. Not even a faint line, so I took it 8 days ago so won’t need to test it out now! Xxx

A that’s good to know. I’m the exact same as you, I took trigger last Wednesday too. For some reason I was reluctant to do a test this morning, I just thought I might feel freaked by a faint line even if I know it’s from the trigger. I might do so tomorrow just to make sure it’s totally blank, and then I can test Sunday/Monday to get accurate result.

I waited to this morning to test to see the trigger gone, I’m 9 days post trigger and the line is still there quite clearly. Annoying! Means it’s lingering in my body and I won't be confident to test for a while. Was really hoping it would be a clear negative so I could start testing in a few days and be confident that any faint line is a BFP.

Ohh really, isn’t it strange how the trigger hangs around more in people’s bodies than others! I did test in the evening but I’m not sure that would have made a different being that HCG is HCG morning or night. I hope it fades for you soon 🙏 xxx

How is everyone doing? Im only on day 2 but symptom spotting galore! The top back of my legs are quite achy this evening, not sure why 🙏 xxx

No symptoms for me apart from slightly tender boobs, but given that started before transfer, it’s def just the progesterone! I’m hoping to hold out a couple more days before I start testing…

I think my legs were because I was sat on some uncomfortable chairs yesterday 🤣 I don’t have sore boobs but never do with any of my FET!

Yes same not ready to test any time soon xx
