Husband and I have just returned from Turkey. we had 2 blastos transfered on wednesday moring. the doctor says Beta HCG test on day 10. ( would be this saturday) I found a nurse who will take my bloods and get the result the same day. Unfortunately I have to wait until tuesday to have my bloods taken as lab is closed over the weekend and then its a bank holidays.
where did you get your blood test done after treatment abroad and what did you pay. I am so worried to take a normal test at the weekend as being scared of a false result.

Hi silvanti_78. I;m afraid I'm a bit old fashioned and would wait until Tuesday anyway. You could try a urine test on Saturday if you want, while you are waiting, but that's entirely up to you. Obviously, I do wish you well with the result whatever you decide to do. I shall be thinking of you. Diane
this is what I will most likely do. I am german so the HCG tests are well known to me. our doctors always test this way ( even without a fertility treatment ) I also wouldnt test early but I can undertstand the impatience of others. its pretty much nerve wracking . I was a little difficult to even find someone who can do the test privately...
Hi. Blessy ou. I do hope all ends well for you. Keeping everything crossed. Diane
TDI Pathology in London test within four hours and on a Saturday. They send out a pack and you can get someone to take them. Post them and all done. Good luck with your results xxx
I have already booked a test for Tuesday... a nurse will come to mine and takes the blood and then brings it to the lab. I will get the result the same day. it cost me nearly a 100 pounds. If I had known before I would have used them as my husband is traveling to london sat morning thank you
