Hi
I’m not really sure what to say... we are looking for a private egg donor. After having chemo for breast cancer at 33, I’m unable to have IVF with my own eggs. I’m 36 and have no children. Has anyone any advice? Thank you x

Hi do you get an NHS go where you live? I’m currently 29 weeks pregnant with a DE. We had treatment in Cyprus if you need to go privately it’s a lot cheaper than UK xx
Thanks for the reply- congratulations- that’s amazing news! yes we can have treatment on NHS but there’s a three year waiting list. The same for private at this centre. I’m going to another centre this week which only has a 12 week waiting list. We are wanting to meet/ see the donor which I know isn’t viable through a fertility centre x
Hello, I just thought I would say hi because I really thought I was the only person in the uk who actually wants to meet and see the donor, i find it too weird totally anonymous. We are doing a 3 cycle package at the moment but I have low amh so chances are very small, if these don’t work we are probably doing donor treatment so id be interested to see how you get on xx
I hadn’t really thought about it. I always thought it would be a possibility to use my own eggs (even though I know chemo destroys everything). Me and my partner just keep worrying about donor eggs and I don’t know if it’s becasue it’s still relatively new to us. I just feel I want to see them. I’m pretty devastated I can’t try with what’s left in me but I’m so grateful I have a different way to be a mum. Whether I find anyone who would like donate or I use a centre and they are annonymous, I’ll be extremely happy and either way. I’ll keep you informed and I have everything crossed for you xx
