I'm just wondering if once I've used up the Innohep & Progesterone I brought back to the UK with me is finished will my GP be willing to prescribe me more? I've only found out the suspected cause for my miscarriages via my clinic abroad who put me on the Innohep. I had no tests on the NHS.I'm returning to the clinic for my scan so can get another prescription there if need be.

Sorry to hear about your miscarriages. Do you have any letters from your clinic abroad? Unfortunately an NHS GP is not obliged to prescribe medication that you is not from an NHS clinic. Also Innohep is often on a red list for some GPs which means that only hospitals are meant to prescribe it.
If you have letters then your GP may feel that if it was something the NHS would be prescribing then they may feel comfortable prescribing it too. However many are very cautious due to litigation fears and ultimately they are responsible for you if they give you the prescription.
Good luck xx
Thank you for your reply. I think in that case I'll call my GP on Monday & ask exactly what he would want in a letter from my clinic. If its an issue I'll just get it while I'm away for my scan. I appreciate your information x
