Stim medication

I've been taking Menopur since last Monday (7 days) and Fyremadel since Friday (3 days) the last couple of days I've had discharge, as if ovulating. Has anyone has had this? I know Fyremadel should stop me ovulating but not sure if the slight discharge is just a side affect or if it means this cycle is over. I'm due to have a scan on Wednesday and possibly EC on Friday.

Any support to stop me stressing or confirm I need to ring the clinic would be amazing

this happened to me and I was getting paranoid that I had ovulated but the clinic reassured me that more discharge is a side effect. All the best xx

Totally normal side effect and actually a very good sign that you have a good number of follicles. It’s all the estrogen! The Fyremadel will stop ovulation but I had the exact same panic! Good luck! X

As follicles grow, your estrogen levels rise and after your estrogen levels are at a certain level, you might start seeing the discharge. Once I've been explained this, I was actually looking forward to seeing the discharge, as it was a sign I was responding to medication and my follicles were growing and I had a number of follicles growing. If you are worried though, you can perhaps ask for a blood test to be done before Wednesday: the LH level will indicate whether you are ovulating/about to ovulate.
