Hi everyone, so we are going ahead with our third fet (pray for us) and I’ve started my medication as of day 2. I had my scan today to check lining thickness and it’s looking good, triple layers and 9mm, no cysts or polyps. However, they did find two dominant follicles (one on each side). I’ve never had any follicle growth in the last two transfers. Do you know what this means? If anything?
Thanks

Thank you and thanks for sharing your experience xx
I don't have experience of this but the follicles are where eggs come from right? You have your eggs ready to transfer so you aren't looking for an egg this month? The only thing I could think that could happen is if by some stroke of luck / genius / whatever you want to call it that you actually produce an egg, it gets fertilised and then you become pregnant? Sorry if that sounds silly...
Wishing you all the very best with your transfer xxx
When I had my fet I only had one good follicle and they said that was good enough. We went ahead with it. Remember they said usually without medication we would usually have one large one anyway I believe. Best wishes with it x
Hi, I was having a natural FET and scans showed 2 dominant follicles in the left ovary ( right ovary removed many years ago). My clinic were not worried about this but have had cycle cancelled today as issues with lining ( not related to follicles).
My clinic just said that if I had follicle growth then they would work around my cycle when planning the date for transfer. They didn’t seem too concerned.
