I think it varies from hospital to hospital... so you might find some give updates for each embryo or they’ll only tell you if something is really wrong so you don’t worry. Because you won’t be worrying anyway! 😜 Keep yourself busy today! xx

Hi Lisaworthy1981. Your embryos need time to develop to their best potential. Some clinics update regularly, but most only if there is a problem. Seems like yours are ok, otherwise they would have been in touch. Good luck! Diane

Of course you are, that's only natural. Your embryologist will look after them, as he/she wants to give you your best chance too. Thinking of you. Diane

Ours tend to phone on given days (day 1 and day 3 after collection) mainly to confirm fertilization and to give updates. Also on day after transfer re freezing if appropriate. They do also give us their office number should we need it. We also have a named embryologist who'll deal with us and "do the business" from collection to transfer.

I only got a call day 1 to day they had fertillised and then day 5 to say they were ready , our clinic don’t check day 3 she said !! 🤷🏽‍♀️
