CRGH patients a quick question

Hey Guys

Can any of you PM me an answer to this.. we had a meeting with our consultant (initial consult) 2 weeks ago and he said his secretary would be in touch with various forms etc so we could get started.... 2 weeks later not heard anything

Is this normal? or do you think we have been missed off the list? Seems VERY slow to send us some forms!

Hi there Daisy, We had a consultation with CRGH and had an email from the secretary that day/next day. I would ring them if I were you. May have been a mistake x

Hey! We had a consult with them too. Dr was great and Secretary emailed all the paperwork the next day. I then tried to make the nurses appointment which was the follow up. I called the number on the pack that was emailed through. Left a message on the voicemail. Didn’t hear back. I called a week later and did get to speak to someone. Rather than make the appointment she asked me to email. Which I did. Managed to get an appointment date and time but no confirmation came through. So called again and they didn’t have me on the system. When I forwarded the email I originally got with date and time. They apologised and booked me in. 2 days before the appointment I called about the dial in details. They asked me to email. Nothing came through a day before the consult with the nurse still nothing so I called and cancelled - this took about 6 weeks and I was no prepared to be stressed by poor management so I went to another clinic. I did let the doctor and his Secretary know. Revolving doors. One patient out and another 20 will follow so no need to hold high standards with customer service/patient care. This was my experience this year. Went to the lister instead.

Give them a call. They are very efficient, usually you can receive something you need on the same day/next. Sometimes email could goes into your junk mail so do check your junk mail everyday if you are waiting for some forms etc.

Its probably an oversight. That said, i'm with them at the moment, doing my second round of IVF and have not been particularly impressed with their service so far.

It is a bit weird - we've come from a small clinic which was very personal, definitely feel like a not very important one of thousands with them but if they get the results I guess it doesnt matter. Ive done so many rounds I don't feel like I need hand holding any more but I definitely do need someone to contact me! Good luck with your round x

Hi Daisy, I'm an ongoing CRGH patient - Definitely chase them up as I find no one is as responsive as their finance team!!

Thanks! I managed to find the consultants secretary email via google so emailed her over the weekend and hope to hear back soon. Hope you get some success soon x
