Hi everyone

With two failed rounds behind me, I’m looking into the ivf access fertility programmes. Has anyone used these ? Any positive results? I have poor egg quality (never anything to freeze) and endometriosis so I’m not sure I would be considered. Anyone else in the same boat ? Thanks

We’re currently with them on the three-cycle 50% refund programme. Think our first fresh round has failed (chemical pregnancy) so glad we purchased the package now. Only thing is you have to pay for meds which can add up if you need a lot like me. I would definitely find out more as even if you don’t think you’ll be eligible for the refund programmes they have a discounted two-cycle which is worth looking at. We’ll be looking at that if all three rounds fail - if we’re in the unfortunate position of having to claim the refund we’ll report back on how that goes. Good luck xx

Thank you so much for your reply. I’m sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancy, this journey is so difficult

I need a high dose of drugs too, so thanks for the info about the drugs. When you applied did they give you an answer quickly? My consultant said they probably wouldn’t accept me due to the poor egg quality so maybe the two-cycle is the way forward instead xx

No problem and thank you 🙏 still coming to terms with it and grieving even though the process hasn’t started yet. Hoping it will be swift and I can move on from this.

I think they are fairly quick at giving the decision - I took a while deliberating after initially reaching out to them but once you apply I think it should only take a week or two. They did want extra tests for us though. For the discounted programme, my understanding is there’s no approval process, just automatic acceptance below a certain age. When we looked at the costs it seemed to be pretty much 2 for the price of one, more if you have any frozen transfers too. I would definitely look into it xxx

Also just to add while previous failures would be taken into account on the refund programme, you can do as many of the discounted packages as you want. I specifically asked about this and it made me feel a bit better to know that.

I am about to phone the clinic on Monday to start my 4th cycle - my 3rd with Access Fertility. We have been advised that we should be going for donor eggs but we are on the 75% refund programme so we have to see this cycle through. The "benefit" of the refund programme is that, if this cycle fails, we will get back £8k which will then pay towards the donor cycle we will do in Spain. x

Hi Penny, we are using them as well. They are really quick in responding. Very efficient in communicating with our clinic and we got accepted for the 100% refund 3 cycle programme because we haven't had any treatment yet. It seemed like a fantastic idea. Bit painful to hand over so much money in one go but it's a good feeling to know that if it doesn't work we'll get the money back and in the meantime we don't have to deal with any invoices and just pay the meds. Hope you get accepted for the programme you want. Fingers crossed for the treatments and so very sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancy. Lots of love x

Hey to my knowledge access fertility programs offer you multiple IVF cycles at the significant discount.

I might say a very good choice they offer a money back guarantee if you are unsuccessful.

What could be better if you are getting peace of mind and safety that you have made a right decision?

It includes up to 3 IVF cycles and transfer of frozen embryos. And this will be decided by your doctor about what sort of treatment your doctor suggest you. If anyhow your case is failed they could make multiple attempts or refund your payment.

But yes one thing to remember. This treatment must be recommended by your doctor than you could proceed with IVF.

You might share your progress as you get into this. I would love to hear from you about your journey.

For me, the best way to find or accurate representation of work is through their clinic's websites. I often go to the website as for me there is the greater source of information you may find your preferable package. That fully fits your need. Many hospitals or fertility clinics make it a quite affordable option. You can have multiple attempts or if refund IVF is your choice then you can refund if you don’t have a baby.

Not what you're looking for?
