How long after BFN should you stop pessaries?

Hi everyone, my OTD was yesterday at 9dp5dt and sadly it was a BFN. Tested again today and still the same. I started spotting on Tues (8dp5dt) and that’s been stop and start last couple of days. The clinic told me to test again tomorrow morning at 10dp5dt and if negative to stop the progesterone pessaries.

Our OTD seemed a lot earlier than a lot of ladies I’ve seen and also our clinic does not do blood tests to confirm. Does 10dp5dt seem early to be stopping progesterone? I’m positive I’m not pregnant but just wondered what others views were on this.

Hi BrightonBelle85. I usually advise to do as your clinic recommends, so if you had a 5 day transfer, then usually 10 days is the limit to test. If still BFN tomorrow, you can safely stop the pessaries. Thinking of you. Diane

Thank you so much Diane. That puts my mind at rest. It’s not that I think there’s any chance but you just don’t ever want to do anything that could risk any chance no matter how small. Thank you xx
