Ok so I’m still none the wiser, just slightly more confused.
Tested on my OTD of 10dp5dt and got a BFN. However I spent hours looking at the test and could see a very very skinny pink line. You can’t even see it here.
Was told to test again today and got this second very very faint but thicker line.
I called the clinic and they have told me to retest again on Tuesday. I’m reading so much about late implanters, good and bad stories and I just don’t know how to feel.
It’s such a faint line!

Well it’s there , so just see how it goes 🤷🏼♀️ no one knows which it is. I can see it. Let’s hope it gets stronger 😘 leave the ifs buts crackers and nuts for someone else. Try and relax , then whatever happens, you will be in a good place to deal with outcome . Love and hugs 🤗 💖😘🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Unfortunately there is no much you can do in these circumstances. It’s a constant waiting with pregnancy tests, blood tests and scans! I totally understand how you feel, but positives results are better than negatives so try to feel cautiously happy for it today!
You could get a private hcg test today and get Sameday results! That’s what I did as my lines were super faint. Ideally you would then do another on Sunday / Monday to check they are doubling xx
That line is definitely getting stronger! Just go with it. Its always nerve racking getting a positive as nobody know how it is going to go but just go one day at a time....my anxiety was through the roof. We had a late one too and unfortunately we did lose it at 6wks however this was thought to be down to low progesterone which we disnt know at the time. I have everything crossed for you! When you next speak to your hospital ask if they'll maybe do and couple of bloods 48hrs apart to see if your levels are rising ok. Hugs.xxx
I asked this morning when I called to confirm my result. I’m not an NHS patient this time so I guess they would have said then that I can have them for so many ££. Xx
These are the tests I was provided by the clinic so stuck with them. Trying to do everything exactly how I’m asked so I don’t worry but it’s still worried me haha. I feel a bit alone as the clinic just tells you to test again in another few days. I have to wait til Tuesday! Going mad!
Thanks so much for your thoughts tho. Having people say they can see it makes me feel better xx
Hey clinic tests are never all that sensitive. Your line is i good line on test today. I never used clinic tests. Always frers early test. Get a couple in. I'm guessing it will be darker.
I dont trust them. I got some of the internet, not these but different brand that said 10mlu however the tests came up so light whereas the ferers were a good line on the same urine. Update us if you do decide to use frers.
Test line today looking good! I would try not to worry about it (I know I know, hard); it's looking good to me. A waiting game as always to get to the next step so you can feel more reassured. xxxx
Thanks so much huni. It’s so hard not to think. I’ve been lightheaded with slight fuzzy eyes since last night so could be a sigh but who knows!!! Lol. X
I was always told a line is a line.. and if they are getting darker your HCG is rising.. I would wait at least 48 hours before you test again. Masses of luck xx
I also tested at home on 10dp5dt and got s faint line even lighter than yours. Then on 11dp5dt my beta was 1000! You should get a blood test. Don’t know why your clinic has you suffering like this. I bet you if you have your hcg tested you will be surprised what a big number you have.
I’m so nervous and can’t stop thinking. I am very surprised that my clinic isn’t offering anything more. It’s a long old wait considering my transfer was 8th Feb!
It looks positive to me and the second one is much darker! 11dpt is still pretty early, my OTD was 15dp5dt and I got a dark line on a FRER at 14dpt and a light-medium line on a cheapie test. You could try a Clearblue Digital? Fingers crossed for you xx
Looks good to me. The waiting game is a total nightmare though isn’t it? Do something nice to take your mind off it & wishing you the best of luck for next test 🤞🏼 xx
I'd go with FRER if you're going to do another one - my clinic always has a 14 day OTD so you're still a bit early. Blood tests can be great - but only if you get 2 of them at least 48 hours apart to see the increase. The first blood test will just give you a start number and won't really mean anything until you compare to the second. Its a long time until Tuesday so maybe think about another test over weekend but with a FRER - they are the very best.
Wishing you lots of luck and try to stay sane and calm!! - xxxxxxxx
Thank you hun. I am a little annoyed our test date was earlier than most people seem to get given. It’s thrown me a lot. Had I waited a bit longer I may never have gotten such a faint line/no line on OTD. I just pray it’s a healthy pregnancy.
I only used the tests they gave me which are meant to detect 10miu so who knows. I just tried to do everything right as I wouldn’t get stressed and now look at me hahaha xx
Well I always say that ultimately we are in control and so decide over the weekend what you would like to do to put your mind at ease. You know whats best for you xxx
Hang in there ull be ok. Hoping it gets stronger 4 u.
Hi, I know this is an older post but I’m in the exact same position you were in on day 10 post transfer. Do you mind me asking how things are progressing for you now?
I ended up with a positive. I went for an early scan yesterday and nothing was found so they are monitoring me for an ectopic as my bloods are still high (although coming down). I wish you all the luck x
Thanks. I did but have just had bad news. I ended up with a positive. I went for an early scan yesterday and nothing was found so they are monitoring me for an ectopic as my bloods are still high (although coming down). X
