So sorry to read this Clairet1987. Have you thought about ICSI with a donor eggs?
Did they say what was wrong with the egg production?
I can imagine you must be feeling so devastated at the moment. Hopefully a plan will come to you soon xxx
I really think there is hope! I’m sorry for what you have gone though. In the first two max dose ivfs I did I only got 2 eggs first time (1 fertilised and didn’t make it) and 4 eggs second time (3 fertilised but all poor quality 2 transferred, the 3rd arrested and none made it).
I just did a natural modified ivf and got 3 eggs, all fertilised and got one good quality embryo. We bought a package of 3 of this kind of ivf so are doing 3 banking rounds. This kind is good for low amh or poor responders.
It’s so hard but I suppose you have to just keep researching for what might suit you and just not lose hope. You may have poor sperm but you still fertilised, and I had a good few poor qualities before one good one. We are just doing sperm dna fragmentation testing in case that’s why the embryos are all so poor, unless it’s just my eggs!
We won’t be transferring for a couple of months still so we never know, but just don’t lose hope!xxxx
Hi Clairet1987 - we have the same problem and we have had 3 failed cycles. We are going for a 4th cycle because we went with the Access Refund Programme but if/when that fails, we will be heading to Spain for donor egg ICSI. It's incredibly hard to get your head round that, it's taken me a while but if it's my only way of being able to carry a child then I'll go for it. DHEA & COQ10 are supposed to help with egg quality along with a number of other supplements. Good luck to you x
