Bleeding at 6 weeks

Has anyone experienced any bleeding at this point and all been ok? Today this is what I experienced. It wasn’t much and only when I went to the loo and had eased off now. I have spoken to the clinic and the nurse isn’t concerned and has said it’s fairly common....I’m so scared and wondering if anyone has experienced this and been ok?

Lots of ladies on here have bled big bleeds and been ok hun. Try not to worry the main thing is it's, stopped now. If it continues or you get pain contact your clinic again

If you look at my past posts I had two big bleeds at 6 weeks and 6 + 4 weeks and now I’ve got a baby girl x

Hiya I also bleed around this time but all was okay at the time. Try not to worry, I know it’s easy said than done Hun xx

I also had a bleed and got checked out by the early pregnancy unit - all was ok and I’m now 26 weeks. You can ask to have an early scan of you’re worried Xxx

I’m glad all had been ok for you.

I’m going to sit tight and just wait, this time next week we will know. Unless anything gets worse or more then I will push for an earlier scan x

Lots of women get bleeds, it seems to be fairly common. It’s understandable that you’re worried. Hopefully you won’t see anymore 🤞 xx

I had spotting/light bleeding at 5 and a half weeks and I’m now almost 27 week. It’s very common, easier said than done but try not to worry xxx

Thank you. Wow, congratulations. I really hope I can say that but can’t help thinking I feel differently since, it’s prob on my head, it really wasn’t a lot at all, and hoping there’s no more today x

I genuinely thought the worst too, I had quite strong back ache and some cramping but the spotting lasted maybe a day. Everything crossed for you 🤞 xxx

Hello, so sorry to hear you're having a bad time. I was 8 weeks Monday, and had a small bleed Monday afternoon, and another bigger bleed Wednesday morning. My GP wouldn't refer me for a scan, so we booked a private one Wednesday morning. I cried so much as I thought it was all over - my pregnancy symptoms had eased off too - but when we went for the scan, little bean was right there, strong fast heartbeat and growing well.

I called the Doctors again that afternoon, and spoke to a different doctor, who said she would have referred me for a scan (if only I had spoken to her Monday), but she has signed me off work and told me to rest for a week. I've had no more bleeding, but am following advice - it's been a very scary week.

There's every chance you are absolutely ok and, talking to other ladies, and reading forums like this, it seems so common. But make sure you call your GP or clinic, if you haven't already. Big hugs xx

I had bleeding around the same time as you and got a scan at 7 weeks I has a previous miscarriage I'm now 21 weeks just try and relax and if your concerned go to the hospital x

Thank you, I’m trying to stay calm. I haven’t had any pain or anymore bleeding so it was literally just two toilet trips then a bit of old blood. Hopefully that will be it. It’s such a worry x

It is a worry I still worry now its such a long time in between midwife visits and scans I get extra scans this time as my last baby was on the small side. So lucky I get to see more of my baby.
