Hi, I'm supposed to be 7 weeks pregnant last week when I visited doctor, but u/s showed I'm only 6 weeks pregnant and heart beat is slower than expected. My embryo is growing quite slow like 4.2mm last week, but my HCG level kept increasing slowly. Fertility center people told me it isn't looking too good, but as long as there is heart beat, we should continue to monitor. I also get second opinion from gynecologist, and he said chance of survive is 50-50%. He said in week 9, it's going to be critical week to know if my pregnancy will continue or not. However, my gynecologist encouraged me saying at least ICSI worked on you. I'm 41, and I'm not sure how much time I have but keep finger crossed that I will succeed with 50% of chance.
Just wondering if any lady here had experience of slow growing embryo in first trimester and turn to to be healthy pregnancy at the end?
