Ivf cancelled

To say I’m heartbroken is an understatement for once I was happy with my body and it was reacting the right way. Unfortunately I got the wrong injection from the chemist and took it so ivf cancelled immediately. Does anyone know how long it takes for your period to come back thanks

Which medicines was it? I guess everyone is different but without knowing what they were it will be hard to figure out of give examples of what we have all experienced.

Hiya camillage I was on menopur the sniffers and was meant to get purogen neddle but I took the trigger that you take at the end before they collect the eggs hence the reason it was all cancelled

Oh no. What a pain in the bum (sorry, needs to be a better way to put that and it is not funny). If you had your trigger shot then it will be around about 2-3 weeks before you would have your period.

Hope that helps. I take it you have stopped all the other drugs?

No worries. It is awful and a pain but just try to relax and focus on getting ready for the next time xx

Aw it is so frustrating. I took the progesterone instead of estrogen on my first try and had to stop My periods are long in between and I could have and probably did cry as I would have to wait so long for another. In the end took tablets followed by the pill for 21 days. If you are regular it shouldn’t stop things too much. Good luck xxx

Thanks snuggles 144. Think I cried every time I taught of it yesterday they rang me in the evening to tell me to continue with the sniffers so I’m a little hopeful again. Hope all is going well with you ? I have a scan again next Tuesday so fingers crossed thanks again xxx
