I thought they counted 2 weeks from egg collection (Friday 6th), which would make test day Friday 20th. But they have told me to do it Monday 23rd... which is 2 weeks from nothing. Transfer was yesterday (11th). Would much rather do it on Sunday so we are not rushing around before work on Monday.

Depends whether your Embie was a 3-5 days. If 5 day it usually 10-14 days after that can test. Mine has always been 12days after but Have found that have got a pretty accurate result by day 9+.
Def do it on a day when feels best and like u I have usually tested on a weekend just so didn’t have work to contend with. Hope u have a good result🤞🤞. Best wishes for u wait xx
It seems most clinics have different timings. For some reason ours do 16 days after EC but I’m pretty sure you would get at least a faint positive on a sensitive test after 14 days. I did mine a day early (so 15 days after EC) and got a result.
Really the transfer day shouldn’t matter as the fertilisation happens after collection no matter when the embryo is placed back in, but I could be wrong.
I would do what feels right for you and good luck 🤞🏻
For me on the NHS test day was a home pregnancy urine test 14 days after a 5 day embryo was transfered. Our private clinic say blood test 10 days after a 5 day embryo transfer or home pregnancy urine test 12 days after a 5 day embryo transfer. xx
My clinic has given me the same length of time (or a day longer!) as you following several Friday egg collections. This time I tested a day early and still got a faint positive. Good luck! xx
I had my transfer yesterday same as you, and my test day is on the Monday as well. I may well test on Sunday as well so I'm prepared as in work on the Monday.
Good luck to you as well! This is our 4th attempt and if no joy will have to start another fresh cycle. At least if you test Sunday you have some more time to process the result and not just Monday morning before work. Not sure how I'm going to get through the next week though?! Trying to keep myself busy xx
This is my first time so I’m not sure what to expect! My husband had to go away for a week with work so we will both be alone with our thoughts. So I’m going to go stay with my parents for a bit. Any tips for staying sane?
Apart from trying to stay off Google and not symptom spotting but both are a lot easier said than done! I've found it better to be in work, on my first cycle I took the 2nd week of my 2ww off on leave but not done they since, I am going away for a couple of days next week to see a friend. I think keeping busy but doing nice things helps xx
