Personally I think so. My first cycle everything was textbook with a perfect embryo but it failed to implant. I didn't have the scratch. My second cycle I had the endo scratch and we had a bfp. Sadly we miscarried but I've just had another endo scratch done last Monday in preparation for our next go xx

I've had this same dilemma, I wrote a post a few days ago if you want to read peoples answers. First cycle I didn't have it and fell pregnant but miscarried. 2 FET cycles I had it and both unsuccessful. All embryos were blastocysts so I was torn for my 4th cycle. Good luck with whatever you decide xx

Thanks sweet will check your post out x

I have endo and adenomyosis and was advised against it at Oxford. They also didn't seem that keen to sell it, seems there is limited evidence of this add on.

I got my BFP without it, against all odds.

I personally don't think its a good idea to mess with the inside lining of the womb.

I meant to add, good luck with whatever you decide. I know these things are personal. I did have embryo glue but I was told the scratch isn't great. I was a bit surprised to be told that.

All the best. xxx

I didn't have it as my hospital doesn't even offer it as an option. They don't believe in it. 13 weeks pregnant tomorrow after the second cycle (first cycle nothing to transfer). Good luck with whatever you decide

I had a scratch and it didn't work. Got a bfp with no scratch but did miscarry. I think it is about the only extra ivf treatment that does have good evidence for using it, but I'm not sure any surgical intervention is good if it's not absolutely needed x

Our consultant just said that the scratch does work for some own egg patients. He didn't recommend it for us for some reason because we are using donor eggs but I can't remember why now. Good luck with your treatment xx
