Im new! About to try IUI but have irregular periods and AF is nowhere to be seen

Hi guys,

Im new on here and I need to speak to people who might understand or have experienced similiar things. I wonder if anyone can help.

I have weird periods- I basically have spotting for about 10 days then 5 days of medium/ heavy bleeding. Then I have about 9 days off then im spotting again. every 28 days. Its very hard to know what is period and what is spotting . I used to think i just had 11 day periods the first few days being light but they have gradually got longer over this 2 year TTC period. about 12 years ago my periods stopped for a year with no explanation. wasnt underweight or anything. ...

So anyway, They put me on Letrozole but we didnt do more than 3 months of that as it just made my peiods more wacky- longer...heavier??

Now I am to start IUI for irregular periods and I started Buserlin nasal spray about ten days ago- apart from my boobs being a bit sore which i havent experienced for over a year (-used to get with period?) I feel great- my spotting stopped and maybe it was not seeing that every day but I have felt SO HAPPY and full of energy I want to be on this stuff all the time.

Then today went for first V scan and have no idea what that grey mess is on the screen- they say- heres your lining. WHAT? WHERE? well its 29cm whatever that means. I havent had a period so they cant go to the next stage and I really dont feel like my period is going to come any time soon. Its gone. I feel itchy . like a storm brewing but I know my body and Its too sensitive its probably just closed down or something. it flips out at anything it would seem- stress, drugs....sometimes i get a rash on my face if i get really awkward and stressed. And i feel pain tightly around my neck and chest- but im also just a normal person and not a hyperventilating mess- and I go swimming and use a sauna and steam room and relax now! so why isnt my body playing ball?

Do you guys feel like this? I never know what to ask the nurses-they must have answers but I dont know the right questions to ask.

Ill keep things shorter next time, but... newbie. TMI....

my QUESTION if you have irregular periods how has the IUI process been for you? I need to know- i dont even know what is going on?

I don’t have similar experience but I feel like maybe they should be doing hysteroscopy and maybe even laparoscopy to try to see what’s going on with you.

Ps over on the endo uk site someone is recommending raspberry leaf tea or raspberry leaf capsules to bring on a period. Maybe worth a try?
