Positive consultation today

Hi all,

We had our consultation today and everything seemed to go well. We are really happy with the clinic so far and our consultant was really nice and informative. I knew most of what she was telling us but she managed to make it interesting, as if I were hearing it for the first time.

The internal 3D scan showed everything was looking good, apparently I have a good shaped cavity! I had a antral follicle count of 20 which they were really happy with (this is up from the blood test that I had at the last clinic). My partner had a good sperm count but they were "having a lazy day" according to the consultant but, fortunately, not enough to be worried.

She thinks I'll respond well to treatment and said the success rate for my age and count is about 45-50%. All in all it was really encouraging.

We're starting on my next period which is in less than 2 weeks! I'm so happy and just hope that the rest of the journey goes smoothly. I know so much can still go wrong but so much can go right 😁

Not sure I can honestly say I’m feeling positive, but am keeping everything crossed it will be third time lucky!

I’m back in short cycle this time which I’m pleased about as it’s far less injections! Baseline scan in a couple of weeks so should start stims first week in March so we won’t be too far apart.

Im well thanks, literally took no time to reover at all. That's me on the pill now so gearing up for down regulation next month with a view to transfer Mid April so not too long to go....dragging a bit but will be here before I know it or so I keep telling myself! Ha ha ha xx
