Gutted 😢

My fertility journey is yet again on hold and I am gutted. My endometriosis is constantly flaring and it looks like I’m heading towards more surgery. I’m so fed up 😢

I'm so sorry to hear this; I can only imagine how frustrating it is for you. Have they given you a timescale for possible surgery? When will you find out? Hope youre ok and you get some answers soon x

Thank you. I’m waiting to see my consultant to discuss the surgery. We’d hoped I’d be okay to try another fet but I’m so poorly at the moment I can’t put myself through it and I want to be able to give my embryo the best chance I can.

I do know it’s another big op which will a 6-9 months wait to do anymore fertility treatment 😩

Frustrated is an understatement but last week I was ready to cut myself open my pain was that severe.

I’m very low anyway and this just makes things so much harder.

Sorry for the pity party but it’s good to talk about it. So they keep telling me 😔

You poor thing, I had endometriosis no where near as bad as you by the sound of it. But it’s so painful. I really hope you get everything sorted soon and you will then feel better and begin your journey again xxx

If it’s any consolation ( which I am sure it isn’t) I’m also having to put my trying on hold till I have further surgery.

I also have endometriosis which I think has returned since my miscarriage.

It is very difficult.

Oh I’m so sorry! How frustrating and just so unfair. It’s rubbish dealing with bad news when you feel unwell and in pain too. Sending you a big hug. x

Sorry to hear that you may be heading towards more surgery. The constant waiting is a complete head wreck. Hopefully once you've seen the surgeon you will at least know what you're dealing with, if you can go ahead or have to postpone!xx
