Period following miscarriage

Anyone else experienced no period after 6 weeks since the miscarriage? If so how long did it take to get back to normal

Hiya.

I had my miscarriage on the 27th of December and i think my period has come today. But its not like usual i have lots of brown old blood sorry for the tmi.

So sorry to hear that, mine was on 22nd December and no sign, I do still have some pregnancy tissue left but they said that should not stop it! If you don’t mind me asking did you naturally miscarriage or did you have medical management

I had medical management. Bled the day they gave me the tablets, then had another big bleed about 2 weeks after. I had a scan about 2 weeks ago that showed something still left behind and am due to go back tomorrow for another scan. Dont like the thought of being scanned if it us AF thought x

I’ve had 3 natural miscarriages and each time I had a period 2 weeks after I finished bleeding from the miscarriage, but then didn’t have another period for 10 weeks!! Everyone’s bodies are so different x

I had a D and C but the doctors said it can take up to 8 weeks for your cycle to come back so don’t worry too much. How are you feeling? X

Generally I feel fine, have my low sad moments but physically feel normal just want my body back to normal, if I don’t have a period soon then will have to be hysteroscopy to remove final tissue as still 2cm, had medical mgmt but not getting last bit moving xx
