Does anyone have any experience of natural FET (non medicated)? Thanks.

Natural FET. Any experience?
Sorry I haven’t any experience of this. Doing a donor egg cycle at present which I’m told as a recipient is the same as a medicated FET x
I’m interested in this too. If this cycle fails we have one of ice but I really don’t want to interfere with my body again with these drugs 😕
Hi there. If god forbid your first cycle fails, but you have a blastocyst freeze, can you use it your next cycle without medication/injection? Our doctor said we probably need another ivf treatment all over again if fails!
Hi Hellsbells36,
No experience but we are starting a natural FET in Feb or March. When do you start yours? Good luck x
Hi. I’m hoping to start February or March too!! 👍🏻
It's a breeze. I found it so much better than my fresh cycle with all the drugs etc xxx
I’m just going through this myself. Gonna start testing next week. Did it last cycle but missed the surge of Lh. It def quite easy as just going with ur natural cycle but I’ve learnt from the last one that call the clinic as soon as get the surge and then will do the scan. Hope for large enough folicals then. No drugs at all which is nice ☺️ best wishes😊
Thanks!! All the best to you x
I don't but I wanted to let you know that I'm thinking about you <3
Thank you x
Yes, so much easier and more natural, as it says in the tin! I'm now 21 weeks pregnant. Good luck whatever you choose x
Congratulations x
I'm going to do FET naturally this Saturday. I must say no injection, pills are so much easier to you mentally and physically. I'm much more relaxed when I did my fist ICSI in Dec.
Just a lot of back and forth to hospital for blood test and ultrasound.
That’s what I was wondering. I have my appointment next week to go through the plan for the cycle but just wanted to know from those who have experienced it first hand what it can be like. Thanks for your reply. Good luck x
Yes! My pregnancy is the result of an unmedicated FET. I found the process loads less stressful. I had to have a check up to assess my lining and then the date was set.
The most nerve wracking bit was waiting to hear if the embryo survived the thaw. But we were lucky and I'm over the moon to say my baby is due in a few months!
Good luck - wishing you the best for your FET.
Yes my little girl ( who is 9 months) is the result of a natural FET, I found it much less stressful. I think as long as you are ovulating and get positive OPKS then I definitely think it's worth trying x much more natural for the body which can only be a good thing I think!
Good luck! X
Yes, I’m in the middle of a natural cycle - had to do ovulation urine tests twice a day from day 10 and had lining and follicles checked at the clinic every other day but I’d still rather do it this way. Good luck xx
Thank you!! I’m prepared to have to lots of trips to the clinic!!
My last fet was November and was medicated. I had a terrible flare up of my endometriosis again and then had a bfn. My endometriosis then flared again for 21 days once I’d stopped all the drugs. I just can’t do that again and I’m sure that’s not a good environment for a baby so not surprised I got a negative.
I have 1 frozen embryo left and want to give it every chance with a natural cycle.
Good luck with your cycle x
You too hellsbells! Xx
Yes, my sister had it last year. I'll tell you the complete procedure in detail,as I was there the whole time.Your specialist medical specialist can organise a cycle arrange for your fet cycle .The specialist might need you to own a meeting with them to discuss this set up before commencing your treatment cycle. In a “natural” fet cycle (where no medications are used before the embryo transfer), the cycle is tracked for ovulation through blood tests to observe the hormone levels. As ovulation attracts close to an ultrasound are going to be requested to measure the thickness and maturity of the endometrium. If this can be appropriate, the embryo transfer are going to be performed 2-3 days after ovulation.
Now,coming towards the risks.
These embryos aren't able to be implanted at the time of their replacement. . At that point they're terribly very little volume of fluid that we is expected to unfold sort of a skinny film on the surface of the liner of your uterus. The embryo could sit during a fold of the liner of the uterus till it reaches the stage of implantation. The chance of embryo floating away within the direction of the uterine tube exists in all patients. In traditional circumstances we tend to expect that the fine hair within the tube that beat in the direction of the uterus can forestall such a migration. But in some cases this might not happen and therefore the embryo enters the tube. Unable to come to implant within the womb and particularly in girls with broken tubes, it should attach itself to the tube and so a tubal pregnancy happens. If left unknown, the tube could rupture and internal hemorrhage could occur. They endeavour to form an early diagnosing by performing an ultrasound scan at seven weeks of pregnancy . . At 3 weeks after your pregnancy test.
hey Mrs my last fet was a natural cycle or so my clinic called it however I did take meds after transfer both steroids and blood thinners plus the crinone gel..as folk say so much easier on the body you just use ovulation sticks and when get a smiley face call clinic for blood test straight away and if surge detected then they give you date for et and that's you..I am doing another natural fet this month xxx
Thank you 🙏🏻
