Hi all. I am 35 and just started our IVF treatment. I am on my 2nd day of the Synarel nasal spray. I do a bit of exercise in the gym at least 3 times a week. The nurse adviced me not to lift or make sudden twisting. I am thinking of stopping my gym membership because of the treatment. But i know exercise is good for the health.
Is there anybody out there who can advice me regarding this. Thanks.

Hi, I'm on day 6 of injections and was wondering the same. I've seen some posts where like you the girls have been advised to stop lifting & hiit sessions (which is what I do) they have spoken about walking, swimming & yoga. I'm going to go along those lines for the time being. Too important to risk it I think! Xx
Hey, yeah you do need to be careful at the gym especially during stimming. I stopped by gym membership as much as I loved going I didn’t want to look back and think was it because something I did there. I stuck to walking luckily I have 2 energetic dogs so that helped x
I switched to light exercise during my IVF round, I used to do a lot of running but it can put quite a lot of stress and strain on your body ideally you want your body to be as relaxed as possible during treatment. I switched to walking (my treatment was during the summer so weather wasn’t too bad) but swimming would also be a good alternative x
Day two of stims. In the past I have stopped after egg collection due to discomfort and then not started again until after the 2ww. Having a freeze all cycle this time so will just carry on!
Hi, i think stick to gentle exercise such as walking for the time being. A nurse once said to me, don’t do anything that will leave you with regret. It has stuck with me. Best of luck with your treatment x
