Miscarriage

Hi everyone. I have just had my second miscarriage in a row now and I’ve been bleeding for 3 weeks, I didn’t know if this was normal as I’m also experiencing lower back pain on my left hand side. Would like some advise from someone who may have experienced this themselves.

Three weeks sounds long. Have you been to your doctor or the early pregnancy unit?

So sorry for your loss, has it been continuous bleeding for 3 weeks? I bled on and off for a couple of weeks and was told that was to be expected. Maybe give you the EPU a ring to see what they say x

Sorry to hear of your losses. I agree with the others, maybe best to get checked out at EPU or at least get their advice.xx

Hi. Thanks for your messages. I went back and had a scan last week and they have said that everything looks fine, and they did say that the bleeding is a good sign too as it still means my body is still shredding it away.

Are you still getting positive pregnancy tests? As this can give you a clue about whether your hormone levels are dropping as they should.

I’ve been told to take a test in 3 weeks to see what the outcome is. I’m still bleeding at the moment so I’d rather wait till after
