Buttocks pain in pregnancy?

Anyone here having severe buttocks pain in pregnancy? I had a severe pain just in my left buttocks, pain is so much that i cant even walk 🙁 Just so curious if its normal or not? Anyone have any knowledge of this pain can please share with me ..

Could be sciatica which I think is quite common in pregnancy

No but during the night I do get really bad buttock/ thigh pains but I think that’s just numbness from the heaviness of bump and I get awful leg and foot cramps. I have heard sciatica can be quite common though xx

As several people have suggested it's probably your sciatic nerve. I had pain down my buttock and upper leg so just tried to take it a bit more easy and it seemed to work as I don't have pain anymore. I was also advised to avoid heels so I've been wearing good shoes. It's probably helped ease the pain too.

Thankyou for your reply. Only thing that concerned me is the pain i am having is just on left buttocks, right side is absolutely fine. Is it due to my sleeping position? Cz i sleep on left side

I would perhaps phone your doctor and just let them know, maybe they can do something to help ease any discomfort xx

I did it was sciatica as baby was pushing on nerve xx
