Hi Would anyone answering this please do so as a private message, as we can't advertise clinics on the Forum. Many thanks. Diane
Sorry to hear that Nickimidge. But it’s good they’ve sent you for ivf. We had a bit of a battle as I have one tube that was stitched open (cuffed) in a lap and the other tube and was removed. My consultant didn’t want to send me for ivf as he said the remaining tube would most likely block and then fill with fluid which will leak back into uterus. He sent me for yet more tests, hsg and ultrasound but I didn’t have them and pushed to be referred for the ivf. He said something along the lines of, don’t say I didn’t tell you a dive seen it happen before. My surgeon decided on leaving the remaining tube to give me a chance naturally and he suggested that I will need another lap to remove it. It’s so hard but hopefully we will have ivf treatment in a few months now. Good luck to you on your ivf journey xxx
Thinking of u and wishing you every success with ivf hun I'm back to discuss my nexted plan in January after having hsg in November,
Hi nicki was just wondering how you were getting on? Also do you know where abouts ykur tubes were blocked? I had a tube unblocked and one was ok still anxious about getting bfn
Hi Jasmine.
My tubes are both blocked at the fimbral end. I asked about my tubes being unblocked but some gynaes just don’t like doing it as it isn’t always guarenteed that they won’t block again. We’ve just filled in some forms and sent then off, so we are now waiting for the date of our first clinic appt xx
