I have a friend who try to have baby for 10 years since she was 31, and they have tried IVF- x times, acupuncture- x times. She tried everything she can, and nothing worked for her. So she starts to do more exercise like 5km-8km running, cycling and yoga. She always has healthy diet habit. At age of 42, one day her husband asked her how come you seem like you have gained some weight. First month of pregnancy, she was bleeding, so she thought she got her period. So she went to see gynecologist and found out she was pregnant. She now had a beautiful, healthy baby girl at age of 43. It was nice surprise, and she didn't know it would happen to her. So I guess we need to be relax, stay in healthy life style and don't give up! Take really good care of your own body no matter what!

Hi there. That's so nice to hear. I am so happy for your friend. I wish more people would get lucky like this. It shows the importance of maintaining your health. Without good health, there are so many things that can go wrong. However, I feel that it might not have been exercise and eating healthy that was the only reason. Otherwise there are so many people who maintain such active lifestyles. Despite that, they are unable to conceive. Maybe the accupunctures and other treatments etc combined with the good health did the trick. Of course, that is just my opinion. Regardless, the bottom line is that she managed to beat infertility. Congratulations for that. I hope there are great things in store for her and the baby. Good luck!

Hi there. That is so nice to hear. After all the sad stories, it is nice to hear a happy one. It is a pleasant change. Can you give some more details? was it only the change in lifestyle that helped? If yes, then that is awesome. Many women have troube conceiving. The root cause is usually an healthy lifestyle. So, it is wise to remain conscious of our health. We owe it to ourselves. Now that I think about it, I see that this makes sense. I heard that obesity in men can cause a decrease in sperm count. So, it makes sense to assume that the being overweight can cause problems for women too. I wish good luck to your friend for the future.

Hi Lily, biggest change is she do more cardio like running than before. She ran x2-3 a week. Also, she doesn't drink 'cold' drink at all. She said cold drink isn't good for your uterus during/after period, according to her Chinese medicine doctor. She also goes to bed early and have 8 hours sleep at least. Basically stay in healthy life style as much as you can and go with flow. Not to think about what went wrong. That's what she told me and now her baby is almost 1 year old.
