One egg finally divided this afternoon ❤️

I couldn't contain myself today... I rang the unit to ask for an update on our embryos.. I was so disheartened when the embryologist told me our embryos hadn't divided they were showing signs of trying but they should have done so before this time (which was 11am today).

She said she would give them until the end of today to see if they have a delayed response and she would give us a call this afternoon, but it didn't look positive.

I have cried all day. Once again, our cycle turned upside down, another dampener on our happiness.

At 4pm she rang.. One of our embryos had DIVIDED!!!!!

Again, I cried hahaha! All I have done is cry, tears of happiness and sadness!

So I'm booked in for a three day transfer tomorrow. I know its another stage of worry but we are another step forward, thats the main thing...

Going in for 12.15 😬 we are keeping everything crossed at least one has made it to blastocyst stage, they will call us tomorrow before we leave for the hospital as there may be a chance they will do the transfer Sunday if one hasn’t quite got to that stage (really hope not. Just want it done now ☺️)

I’m afraid I don’t have any tips, this is my first transfer (didn’t even make it to egg collection last cycle) so we’re going into the unknown together ☺️

Well mine have told me to drink 500mls 1-2 hrs before hand but nothing in the hour right before transfer.

Ooooooooh, that’s a good time. Wish mine was a little earlier ☺️

Im good thank you! The transfer went well, we ended up getting two embryos put back in as they were very slow developers.. Chances of pregnancy are slim but there is still every chance, hence the reason were all going through this gruelling treatment!! Thank you so much for asking, very kind of you xx
