Hey everyone! Hope you all are having a good day! So following my appointment with the consultant regarding the loss of my twin I was advised that he suggests waiting 6 months before trying again & this news upset me as we want to try again ASAP. I decided to email his secretary to ask what are his reasons for such a long wait & they replied with “My letter explains that a short inter pregnancy interval is a risk factor for preterm labour” but I’m confused as everywhere I read ladies are only asked to wait only 3 months!? I think I’m going to send a copy of the letter to the fertility clinic & ask to start in either January/February & see what they say but Knowing my luck they will make me wait!

Hate being out of control of my life!!!!

I’m so sorry for ur loss pls look after ursef, u have been through a lot already, u r one of the strongest ppl in this community, my dear if u wanted to start trying again I don’t see why not, get a second opinion, good luck to it all

Ok I see so you were a way down. That could be why they are asking you to wait? I had a very early miscarriage in September (2 weeks) but my body isn’t still back to normal

Sorry for your loss. I don’t know but I’ve read other ladies stories & some of them were further gone than me & they were only suggested to wait 3 months or 2 periods. I think my body is back to normal, I’ve had one period and due another one shortly cx
