A little bit of hope

Hi ladies,

I hope you are all ok & staying as positive as possible. 💕💪🏻

I just wanted to let you know that I heard from our clinic today (Leeds Hospital) & they said they have been working behind the scenes to get prepped for when they can start up again. They don’t know the dates but they ‘don’t expect it to be ages.’ I don’t know what that means but seems to be good news! And certainly not the 12 months shitty tabloids are quoting!

We were due to start a frozen cycle last month and that was cancelled the day before I was to start the drugs. Because I’m pretty much ready to go the clinic also asked if I would be willing to do a FaceTime consultation if needed to get started quickly again.

I know lots of clinics will be different but this does give me hope they are working behind the scenes to get us all going again & they hope it won’t be ages to wait. I hope this news helps you like it did me & I trust those that had cycles cancelled like ours are hanging in there.

Thanks for sharing it’s so nice to hear some positive news. My cycle was cancelled a week into starting meds and I’ve really been struggling with the uncertainty and not knowing how long things will take before starting again so great to hear your clinic are looking forward xxx

Sorry to hear that lovely. Sounds like you were just ahead of me then. If your clinic are like mine then you should be at the top of the list for starting again. We just have to try & be patient in these uncertain times. Easier said than done! Take care xx

Thanks for sharing that’s really encouraging, I’m really struggling with not knowing how long till we can try again. Is it a private or nhs clinic if you don’t mind me asking?xx

Yeah I feel the same. Still no definite times but a sliver of hope! It’s a NHS facility but I’ll be private as on my third round.

Great news, but aren't you afraid to start your treatment at this period of time? I mean what if there are going to be any problems with medical support?.

Of course! But I trust that the clinic wouldn’t open and start treatment unless it was safe & ok to do so.
