Don't want to take test

It's my designated day tomorrow to take s pregnancy test I'm dreading it I really think the ivf hasn't worked and it'll be negative I wish I could be in the 2ww longer do that there was a possibility I could be pregnant is that crazy? I don't want to take it in the morning as my husband will have to go straight to work and if it's bad news I'll be by myself. Is it ok to take it in the evening? Or will it screw the results? I know first toilet visit of the day is advised...

Hey,

It's really normal to feel like this. It's so scary testing.

First morning urine is best, especially this early on as HCG isn't always really high so harder to detect.

If you want to do an evening test tomorrow don't drink anything for 4 hours and hold your pee for 4 hours as well to get it more concentrated.

I'd also advice usIng a first response as it detects lower levels of HCG.

Hey, time to relax for now, really! If you've got to test tomorrow the best possible chance you can give your embie is through emotional stability. The more emotional you get pondering over the odds that may not even happen only upsets the hormonal balance of the body: not a very comforting factor for pregnancy. I know how hard it is to stay calm and composed at this point - but you've got to try. It's only fair to try. Yes, you can shift the test to evening, that's not gonna change anything at all. Just hold on for a little longer when you feel like peeing and stop having water for the later part of the day - that will concentrate your urine for more accurate result. Sending baby dust!
