So I have had an eventful 24 hours. I have had the most painful abscess on my bottom crack since Tuesday last week and been on antibiotics since Thursday but they didn't work and the pain has been unbearable. Hubby took me to hospital and we were told I needed emergency surgery before I became septic and put me and bean at huge risk.
So today I have had my first epidural followed by surgery to cut the infection out.
I have never been so scared in my life that something would go wrong and that something would happen to bean but the hospital were fantastic and kept giving regular heart monitoring to reassure us that he is ok in there.
Like this journey isn't scary enough my body decided to make it worse with this newest curve ball.
Finally home and can feel my legs again now.
Sorry to whine but needed a pity party xx

Bless ya hun. Bet you wasn't expecting none of that. I must admit I laughed when you wrote bottom crack 😅 sorry.
I can't imagine what you've been through although I did have epidural when I had my daughter.
Glad your home now safe and sound and little man is ok. Take it easy and look after yourself. You have tickled me. But I'm sure you wasn't tickled in any way. Just glad your ok now
Hi Hormomalmess. Ouch and ouch again! Sounds like my friend's pilonidal sinus! That was yucky, but she's on the mend now, thank goodness. I'm sure little one was completely oblivious as to what was going on. Hope the rest of your pregnancy is uneventful. Diane
