So I had my egg collection yesterday, they managed to get 9 all together. I’m waiting for the phone call from the embryologist to tell me how many have fertilised over night. My husband and I are having ICSI treatment for this cycle! Praying and hoping that some of them fertilise!

A bit sore today but managed to get a good nights sleep. Just anxious...the worry just doesn’t seem to pass, it’s there with with each stage! It is exciting too though!! 😊

I’m really sore, my tummy is really hurting, you’re right though the worry is constantly here! I didn’t sleep very well so feel abit groggy today. I sound like such a whingebag haha!!

My left ovary didn’t seem to respond at all to stims meds so all 7 eggs from the right. Fingers crossed for us both! X
Yes first round of IVF. I had one round of IUI in March and needed a follicle reduction so kind of knew what to expect this time but this next stage is a mystery to me!
That’s brilliant 7 eggs off one ovary! Do you mind me asking what your reason for the treatment is? I have PCOS X
We have been trying for 3 and a half years and they can’t find any issues with either of us. I tried 6 months on clomid starting in February of this year but they always said it was unlikely to help as the tests showed that I was ovulating naturally. The only thing I could tell from my natural cycles was that my ovulation was quite late in the month and I had quite a short luteal phase. They tried me on progesterone pessaries for 3 cycles to try and lengthen my luteal phase but this didn’t seem to help either. IVF was the next option for us so keeping everything crossed x
Oh bless you, I’ve got everything crossed for you! We have also been trying for 3 and half years. I was diagnosed in March 2016 with PCOS. I had 9 months of clomid but it did nothing. I had my first round of IUI in March this year but over responded to the injections and had to have a follicle reduction before insemination. So we decided to go straight for IVF next and here we are. Let’s hope this is the cycle we both need! X

We got our call. All 7 fertilised which we are thrilled about. Now to see if they make it through the weekend. How did you get on? I hope they didn’t keep you waiting too long?? X

Morning!! Had the call, all 3 are doing well. 2 are of good quality and 1 is average. She said it’s not of a concern but just slightly less than the other 2. They couldn’t make a decision today so ET will be Wednesday 😊 x

All I know is out of 8 mature enough to be injected, 7 fertilised, so now they will just wait until day 5 to look at them again 😬😬😬! Xxx

Got the call to say 5 are doing well, one in particular in quite advanced so transfer is being pushed to Wednesday. So nerve wracking! Good luck to us all! 💖

Snap! We’re on our first round. Had EC on Thursday, where they got 9, then a call on Friday to say 7 had fertilised (ICSI).
Literally just had the call today (day 3) to say we still have 6 of a very good quality and we’re going for ET on Tuesday.

Great news - they didn't mention the quality of ours, so not sure what we've got (my partner took the call and didn't ask the hundreds of questions I would have!).
