This might be a very stupid question especially after the fact I've just had my pre treatment consultation to start our ivf today but here goes anyway...
I've been put on nasal spray to start on day 21 of this cycle (25th November) but due to Christmas and clinic closures over the festive season, I'm not due to start my injections until 28th December. The nurses confirmed I should still have my period as normal end of nov/start of Dec and to call them if this doesn't happen but my following period will be due around 31st Dec, 4 days into injections. Will this 31st Dec period happen or do the injections stop this? I may be overthinking this but can't get my head around the dates. I hadn't considered Christmas being a factor so this timetable has me all confused.
Any advice for a novice, would be much appreciated. X

I was on the nasal spray plus some tablets, I got my period a few days after stopping the tablets and had to go in for a scan. I’m sure if you are uncertain or worried about anything then your clinic would prefer you to just call them xx
I'm just on the nasal spray Until I start injections. I've just called them and they have put my mind at rest, thankfully. First panic over, I'm sure there will be more x
That’s good. I’m sure there will be, this is our second go at our private clinic (the first being successful) and I’m still not sure about certain things and worry about everything but that’s natural, it means so much to us. We just have to trust them and try to chill out.
Hi S-Joys. Try not to worry as they will be able to manipulate you to suit and delay over Christmas and the New Year if becessary. This won't have any bad effect on your treatment cycle either, so good luck! I shall be thinking of you. Diane
