I've been doing fertility yoga for past couple of months and I've really enjoyed it. I'm due to start down reg injections in a couple of weeks and I want to know if you carry on during injections?
I've been googling but cant find a definite answer. I would definitely stop before stimming anyway but didnt know about down reg?
Can anyone advise? X

I am a yoga teacher and defo think it all just depends on what comprises your practice. 20 mins in savasana is still yoga donโt forget, but doing lots of high intentsity, flowy, twisty asana practice is probably not a good idea and IMO takes us into the realm of โexerciseโ as opposed to yoga.
I think the key is listening to your body, moving within your limits, and try to avoid expectations of what a practice โshouldโ look like and just go with it.
My practice these days very often ends up with me exploring hip rotations in one pose for a full hour ๐
I will listen to my body and definitely wont be doing flows and twists, even if I sit on the floor with my legs up the wall a few times a week (love that one) xx
I think if you listen to your body you should be good. If your ovaries are swollen, even from previous cycles then I wouldn't risk it. My ovaries tend to stay very swollen, and I get cysts that are very painful so I'm staying on almost total rest. Otherwise you should be fine while on down reg!! Best of luck hun xx
Hi Sarah, no not specifically, they just said nothing strenuous. I always get quite bloated through stimming so I might resort to just lying on the floor ๐๐ xx
I would carry on personally. I canโt see that it would do any harm - in fact quite the opposite, I expect it will do a lot of good. Anything that helps you feel better during down regging has to be a positive in my opinion!
VERY best of luck for this cycle lovely! Keep us posted xxx
