Menopour treatment

Hello ladies i am starting my menopour treatment in two days time but before I start I see that I'm getting my periods; is it normal to have periods before the treatment? I can't get hold of the hospital to ask as it the week end they are closed!

Hiya I had to call on first day of period I had a scan maybe day after that then implications meeting and started the drugs the day after my last day of my period if I remember correctly have you had scans and that meeting? Wishing you all the best x

I haven't had the scan yet I'm starting to stim in 2 days time but now worried that if its normal to have periods before stim? I'm starting to stim on the 29th and going for a scan on the 3rd

Yes I think it is huni as I was told I couldn't start stims until had a period at the scan they will check how you have responded to the stims since 29th did you have a baseline scan before implications meeting? X

aww your welcome! 😘 I presume you are on a short protocol? If so hopefully the whole process will be done within a month including the dreaded 2ww that was my experience if you ever want to ask any questions for just chat I'm here x

Well you should start your period and then have a scan and start stimulation of the drugs on day two or 3 of your period. If you are on the long or short Flare ivf treatment you can see the information on You tube youtube.com/watch?v=hHj07Ld...(Not working as expected?)
