Hi, I really need some positive stories! I'm feeling a little like it's all over. Yesterday was my egg collection and I got 6 eggs, however over night only one has fertilised. Two more may or may not make it, at this stage that's unlikely though. I'm feeling really anxious that I won't even make it to transfer. I know it only takes one, but it doesn't really give me much room for things to go wrong.
So I need all your positive stories about having only one egg fertilise and having it stick!
Has anyone had only one fertilise and had it make it to transfer then stick ?

I only had 1 egg/follicle on round 6. I didn’t respond at all to the meds. That 1 lonely egg fertilised and grew nicely. She is now nearly 5 years old!
Thank you! I'm hoping mine does the same. My husband says if this one can hold on through to the 5 day transfer then it must be strong enough to stick, so I guess I just take it day by day
They may prefer to do ET earlier if you only have one as there’s no need to keep it outside the womb for five days to see which is the strongest if there’s only one. I just wanted to mention that to prepare you for the possibility.
Yea apparently the research they go on shows that if it's going to survive to 5 days it has a higher chance of successful transfer. so he said he'd be happy to transfer tomorrow if I insist but they think if it doesn't survive on the outside last day 3 then it wouldn't survive inside so I guess I have to just trust them! He did say though if I was over 40 they sometimes consider putting it in earlier 🤷🏼♀️
This must have been disappointing for you but you only need the one. Hoping the "lone ranger" makes it all the way. It's obviously a little fighter to have done so well. Lots of luck xx
Thank you! The dr said it's a good sign that it's gotten to this point so I just need it to hold on a few more days and then obviously through transfer!
