Had a scan this morning and my follicles look to be between 10 to 16 mm? So I’ve been given another injection to possibly take on fri depending on my bloods today and the lovely nurse helped with my questions! Bloods for oestrogen levels! EC prob mon or tues, sorry just had to share as I can’t at work!! Thanks xx

I know that feeling.....expecting to have the ec one day and then told at scan and blood tests that the follicles are not big enough etc. I had to have two growth hormone injections over 4 days to get my follicles to grow.....not funny at all.

Hi there, your follicle development sounds promising - well done! It's interesting you also had bloods taken during the stimulation phase - I only had scans, normally every other day, before EC. The final injections (4 on the final day!) were not pleasant but I coped well and you will do too. I was on Bemfola, Menopur, Cetrotide (did not like that one) and Ovitrelle. Good luck!

I had to up my dose as I wasn’t responding as fast as the clinic wanted and it’s frustrating to be told that it will take longer than you thought. But at least you know the clinic is doing what they feel is right for you rather than putting you in too early just because that’s when they had originally planned it. I hope EC goes well for you!

That's great news. I had my egg collection this morning and I feel absolutely fine. It was no where near as bad as I was expecting. Good luck to you x

I left early to beat the traffic and arrived before all the ladies who were having there EC’s today! That was kinda strange knowing that’s what they were doing!! thanks for all the kind replies xx
