Serrapeptase Advice

Does anyone know if serrapeptase can delay your period? I've been taking it for a month now. I have one tube and it's blocked (hence why I started serrapeptase). I had a lap and dye and my period came as normal but this cycle I'm late. I'm always around a 27 day cycle but this cycle I'm late, I'm approaching cd33 and I've never been this late before unless pregnant. I've had random vomitting over the last two weeks and getting low cramps and headaches but I tested negative yesterday. Obviously I'm really worried about ectopic because of my blocked tube. I'm not sure what to do if I keep testing negative but my period doesn't come. I've never missed a period in over 2 years ttc despite trying lots of different herbal things, vitamins etc... nothing has ever delayed my period. Any advice welcome, I'm really worrying myself.

Hi hun. Sorry for what your going through iv took serrapeptase since March and it hasn't delayed my periods at all. Give it a couple more days and test again or maybe see if you can get bloods done as your at risk of ectopic. Hope you manage to get your mind at rest hun 💗🤗😘

Thanks for sharing your experience, I really didn't think it could be the serrapeptase. If it's not here in a couple of days I'll phone my gp for advice. Thanks!!

Well I spoke to my doctor and he insisted on a blood test immediately, I'll get the result tomorrow. It's probably nothing because I'm still getting negative hpt but it's worth checking I suppose.

I've not had the result yet but my period ended up coming on Friday anyway. I got a lovely surprise though, my first appointment to start ivf came through and it's in November so that has definitely perked me up a bit.

Hi Molly,

How did you get on with the serrapeptase? I have only recently discovered this & started taking it on Monday. Have already started noticing different things. I've had really bad sinusitis on & off for 2 years & after 5 days I can breathe easily! My cough has completely gone, my sinusitis caused Post nasal drip & I've been coughing constantly for about 2 years so I feel a million times better already!

I initially started trying to research how to clear scarring from chlamydia which unfortunately myself & DH found out we had about 10 years ago. The docs have never checked my tubes & I've only been pregnant once which was ectopic. As I've had NHS funded IVF the docs are refusing to check my tubes unless I have a few more ectopics!!

Thought it couldn't do any harm to try the serrapeptasr in case there is a problem & hubby is using it too.

Xxx

I actually stopped it after one month. AF took forever to come, I was over a week late. I'm not sure if that was due to serrapeptase but it just so happened I had an appointment through for the IVF clinic so I didn't want to take anything on the run up to that but turns out I still have another few months to wait before starting ivf. I don't know whether to try it again or not. I hit quite a lot of headaches when I was taking it, again could have just been coincidence. It does get really good reviews though.

Yes serrapeptase does delay your period, I have been taking it for two weeks now and my period was late by 2 days however it came today. I am kind of happy because I don't want to get an ectopic pregnancy so am glad I will continue to take it.

I started taking it but I am a day late and i am freaking out cause it normally doesn’t happen. I want to go take a pregnancy test to calm my nerves. I am sure it’s the serrapeptase, and now that I am seeing a lot of women had delays I feel a little bit better.
